This Role:
As a Senior Engineer, Identity & Access Management, you will play a critical role in safeguarding LogixHealth’s digital assets and ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our systems. Your technical expertise will help develop and implement cybersecurity solutions and drive the design and evolution of the capability of our tooling to ensure we stay ahead of emerging threats. 

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM): 
    • Architect, develop, and deploy IAM systems, including user provisioning, authentication, and authorization 
    • Implement and maintain IAM solutions, including directory services (e.g., Entra ID, Active Directory) and related security aspects like conditional access, privileged identities, dynamic groups, service principals, managed security accounts 
    • Design and implement policies and controls to ensure Manage user identities, roles, and permissions across the organization 
    • Balance security requirements with user productivity by fine-tuning access controls 
  • Endpoint Security: 
    • Integrate MFA with existing systems, enhancing security without compromising user experience 
    • Evolve our Microsoft Defender for endpoint protection capabilities including security logging, alerting, and reporting 
    • Utilize Intune for managing mobile devices (iOS, Android, Windows) and improve security policies, app management, and remote wipe capabilities 
  • Security Tooling: 
    • Enhance and maintain a robust threat management program through evolving our toolsets including SIEM (Defender, Sentinel, Secureworks/Taegis XDR, Tenable Nessus) 
    • Embed security practices into the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and integrate with Static Application Security Testing (SAST) tools and processes to identify vulnerabilities early in the development process 
    • Evaluate, design, and implement tools to identify vulnerabilities, enforce configuration management, and manage software consistency across all servers and endpoints

Required:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, MIS, information security, or related field or relevant experience desired  
  • Certifications: CISSP, CISM, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator/ Associate, or other relevant certifications strongly desired 
  • Minimum 4 years in information security  
  • Strong understanding of cloud security, network security, and secure coding practices 
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, Ansible) 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders 
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals  
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail 
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
