This Role:
As a Staff Software Engineer at LogixHealth, you will work with a globally distributed team of engineers to design and build cutting edge solutions that directly improve the healthcare industry. This Role:

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to the creation of a scalable application platform for delivering complex and challenging projects across software and data.
- Design and build cloud-native software using industry leading practices and tools.
- Own building and shipping new features across all levels of the stack - frontend and backend.
- Write high-quality, testable, long-term maintainable, and performant code.
- Build monitoring and observability to understand system performance and user behavior to make informed decisions.
- Balance tradeoffs to meet short-term needs while investing in long-term foundation.
- Provide technical leadership to key stakeholders, proactively communicating project details and development progress.

Required:
- BS (or higher, MS / PhD) degree in Computer Science / related field, or equivalent technical experience
- 8+ years software engineering experience
- 3+ years in a senior, staff or principal engineer role
- Experience designing and building cloud-native solutions (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud Platform)
- Strong programming skills in one or more of Go, C#, NodeJS, Python, Java
- Strong programming skills in one or more of TypeScript, Angular, React
- Expertise with more than one of PostgreSQL, Redis, gRPC, GraphQL, messaging systems (Kafka, SQS)
- Strong understanding how to leverage unit, integration and E2E test automation as part of the software development lifecycle
- Experience leading projects within a team and across teams
- Passion for mentoring and guiding others
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
Preferred:
- Azure experience
- Experience with native development on iOS and Android
- Experience with UX principles and application performance optimization
- Experience with observability tools (Azure Monitor, Datadog, Grafana)
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, cloud-specific IaC tools)
- Experience with one or more CNCF projects
- Experience designing and implementing infrastructure security and governance platform adhering to compliance standards (HIPAA, SOC 2)
